Contrast, High or Low: 6 Moncler and 1017 ALYX 9SM Collide

For the third iteration of 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM, designer of 1017 ALYX 9SM, Matthew M. Williams, combines hyper-technicality with crafted utility, producing an innovative selection of clothing and accessories in collaboration with Moncler.

The utilitarian ready-to-wear collection embodies Williams' upbringing, drawing inspiration from his youth in California and global urban sub-cultures.

Williams takes a dual approach of blending innovative construction with metalwork, "establishing a distinctive design language that is both urgently metropolitan and instinctively of the moment."

The collection has a clear focus on contrasts. "Matt and shiny, natural and man-made, soft and hard, dark and light," according to Moncler's press release.

To follow on with Williams’ affinity with contrast, this collection features the classic puffer in white and a black trench.
