Bottega Veneta Ushers in the Lunar New Year with Digital Installations
Their first installation saw itself plaster Bottega’s branding on the Great Wall of China alongside a festive message that read, 新春快乐 ("Happy New Year"). The message and company’s logo are displayed in shades of the brand’s signature ‘Bottega green’ and orange, a symbol of good luck and prosperity in Chinese culture. The house also pledged a donation to support the renovation and maintenance of the wall’s Shanhai pass. The installation ran through the 12th of January.
Shortly after, Bottega moved the same installation to Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands to bring in the Lunar New Year and celebrate their newly renovated boutique mall. This version sees their logo and message projected onto the canal water. The installation will run from now until 3rd February.
As part of their Lunar New Year 2022 campaign, the brand will also be changing its signature green to an orange hue and adding a tiger pattern to its Cassette Intrecciato leather bag for its Lunar New Year 2022 capsule.
