The SSCHAFER x PEI YI Armour Collaboration Inspired by Joan of Arc and Xena The Warrior Princess Fem-Dom Axis
The SSCHAFER x PEI YI Armour Collaboration Inspired by The Joan of Arc and Xena The Warrior Princess Fem-Dom Axis
Drawing on the two designers’ distinct styles, the collaborative brainchild of Sschafer and Pei Yi is an exploration of each designer's mutual interest in fantasy fiction, fetishism, and the synergies between pain/pleasure, and strength/vulnerability.
The collaboration was heavily influenced by archetypal fem-doms such as Joan of Arc, Aeon Flux, and Xena the Warrior Princess which inspired their research and development, as did medieval body armour and Pony Play.
3Jane, the protagonist of the story, acts as a vehicle for these influences. Set in the distant future, she wanders the Earth alone. As the sole survivor of the human race, she is strong enough to endure the challenges beset on her yet ultimately vulnerable to the fragile world around her.
