A New Fashion Festival Brings Us Together

Sydney's creative fashion concept store, Sorry Thanks I Love You, is teaming up with major names in food and wine to present the FFWD Festival. Running from August 1st to 4th, this four-day event celebrates art, wine, fashion, and culture.
Maurice Terzini, restaurateur of Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, will bring a fine dining menu to the festival, paired with unorthodox natural wines presented by wine judge and critic Mike Bennie (PV Wine and Liquor).
“Creating unconventional, exceptional live experiences with people at the top of their game is what we do. So I guess it’s no surprise that the three of us have clicked,” says STILY co-founder Caroline Ball. “Working with Mike and Maurice, who pursue excellence and see fine food and wine as their artistic mediums, feels exactly right.”
These menus can be enjoyed alongside the FFWD fashion market, which will showcase both new and archival pieces from STILY’s extensive repertoire of leading designers. Think Issey Miyake, Acne Studios, Comme Des Garçons, and more.

Attendees can enjoy screenings of the newly released fashion documentary High and Low: John Galliano, large-scale art installations, and panels with pioneers from the art, food, and fashion industries.
Produced by Buddy Creative (Splendour in the Grass, Big Day Out), the opening night features an all-inclusive cocktail party with a fundraising fashion auction for Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Headlined by Julian Hamilton and with a live performance from psychedelic rock band Velvet Trip.
FFWD takes place in Machine Hall, a state-of-the-art urban cultural precinct in the heart of Sydney. Tickets range from an affordable $25 to an exclusive and all-inclusive $5000 package, which includes shopping sprees, complimentary drinks all weekend, an Icebergs Dining Room lunch for two, and a $2500 donation to Lifehouse.
